COURSE OVERVIEW
CERTIFIED HUMAN RESOURCE PROFESSIONALS (CHRP)
(CHRP KNQA LEVEL 7)
- The Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) course is designed to equip individuals with competences and knowledge required by human resource professionals for effective job performance, namely; human resource manager, compensation and benefits manager, training and development manager, labor relations manager and employee relations specialist or in any other related areas both public and private sectors
- It reflects the employers’ demand for qualified personnel to manage the human resource function in a dynamic and competitive environment
- All members of the Institute of Human Resource Mgt (IHRM K) are generally referred to as CHRP, and the designatory letters CHRP K are used before their names.
PATH TO BE A CERTIFIED HUMAN RESOURCE PROFESSIONAL (CHRP K)
- Register with HRMPEB for CHRP courses
- Enroll with Star College of Management Studies for training. Why Star College is a preferred training institution.
- Sit and Pass all papers either in a sit-in or online exams in ALL the Parts, and undertake a paper on INDUSTRY- BASED PROJECT
- Join the Institute of Certified Human Resource Management (ICHM K) and become a professional member
COURSE STRUCTURE
- The program is structured into three (3) Progressive Parts, namely:

ELIGIBILITY FOR CHRP EXAMINATION
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) at least mean grade C+ (C plus) and above
- A Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized examining body
- A bachelor degree from a recognized University
- Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority
EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
Examinations are administered in the periods: June and December
