CERTIFIED INVESTMENT AND FINANCIAL ANALYSTS (CIFA)
(CIFA KNQA LEVEL 7)
- The Certified Investment & Financial Analyst (CIFA) course is designed to equip individuals with competences and knowledge required by persons who wish to qualify and work or practice as investment, securities and financial analysts, portfolio managers, investment bankers, fund managers, consultants on national and global financial markets or in any other related areas both public and private sectors
- All members of the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) are generally referred to as (FA), and the designatory letters FA (K) are used before their names.
PATH TO BE A FINANCIAL ANALYSTS (FA) (K)
- Register with Kasneb for CIFA courses
- Enroll with Star College of Management Studies for training. Why Star College is a preferred training institution.
- Sit and Pass all the sit-in papers in ALL the levels and undertake a practical paper in FINANCIAL MODELLING & DATA ANALYTICS
- Join the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (ICIFA) and become a professional member
COURSE STRUCTURE
- The program is structured into three (3) Progressive levels, namely:
FOUNDATION, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED LEVELS
Foundation Level
Intermediate Level
Advanced Level
ELIGIBILITY FOR CIFA EXAMINATION
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) at least mean grade C+ (C plus)
- Other qualification approved by the Board
EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
Examinations are administered in the periods: April, August and December.
